Sorry about not updating last week. I really didn’t have any stories that really grabbed me that I wanted to share with you…until now...

LaViePastiche has done an amazing job writing this story. I remember seeing it recommended on a blog awhile back but it wasn’t finished so I thought I would wait. Last night . I was searching around for a story to read and looking at the judges for the Eddies and Bellies and LaViePastiche is one of the judges and I clicked on her profile and saw that Son of a Preacher Man was completed. Yay! I had a story to read.
It is an Edward and Bella story but it starts out as a Jasper and Bella and Edward and Rosalie story. I know there are a lot of you that may not give the story a try with Edward and Bella being with someone else but I was actually starting to root for Jasper and Bella. I know it is always Edward and Bella but sometimes you want the under-dog to win. This Jasper just needs some loving…not just sexing…some actual loving. His parents are wacko and he didn’t get the right kind of loving at home. I stayed up until 2 am reading and finished it at lunch today. I liked the journey of the characters, how they grow and overcome issues. There is angst and loving and it is just a good story.

I almost didn’t start reading because it is not finished but there 21 chapters completed and let me tell you that I could not stop reading. This story is so amazing. I had to find out what happened. There is violence and attempted sexual assault…so if that is something that bothers you, you may not want to read it.
The Bella in this story is strong and she is determined to keep Lily safe. Lily is Edward’s almost 5 year old daughter. I love Lily in this story too. She is a very smart and brave little one. You will like all of the characters in the story except James who is crazy and hurts Bella. I am looking forward to seeing how Bella and Lily will overcome any post traumatic stress they may have and how Bella will fit into Edward and Lily’s lives. I would love to see this story made into a movie. I would go see it for sure!

Weekly Reads/Recs #3
I am contentiously wowed by the extremely talented fanfiction writers out there! I have read some amazing stories this week! I did something a little different this week to find stories to read. I usually go to other writer’s favorites and the find stories that way. This week I read stories that are posted on Twilighted.net. I am glad that there is an option to change the background color to black and white now. It makes it easier to read stories on my blackberry…anyways I digressed…So on twilighted, I clicked on Categories – Selected AU-Human – Clicked the dropdown where it says “All Stories” and selected Completed Only and clicked go. There are 26 pages of completed stories so I would just click on the page and then read through the story summary and when I found one that sounded like I was in the mood for I read it. If I didn’t change things up I probably wouldn’t of found some of the great stories that I read.

Her new life and possible happiness are threatened when a new tenant moves into the apartment across the hall from her. All canon pairings except for a little Bella and James, because sometimes we all fall for the bad boy.
As you know, I have a hard time reviewing without giving the entire story away. I did enjoy reading this story. There was enough angst but not too much. It does take Bella a little while to make a decision on her relationship with Edward. Sometimes that is frustrating to me because I love Edward and I don’t like to see him hurting. (heehee). In the end she does make the right one but not before some tragic stuff happens to loved ones. Read the story to find out the rest.

Author’s Summary: Bella made the painful decision to leave Edward in the hopes of giving him a better life. Choosing to flee on Christmas Eve, she unknowingly abandoned him on the night he was to propose. Years later he vows to find her again and make her explain.
In this story Bella does to Edward, what Edward does to Bella in New Moon. She leaves him! There are times I want to strangle Bella! How could she leave amazing Edward who loves her so much because she thinks he would be better off without her? I don’t get it…but I love Edward. Nina is an amazing writer and she is creative in using the 12 days of Christmas to help Edward with Bella. This story does have the angst but does it have a happy ending? I’m not telling…you have to read it.

This story has mystery, suspense, and humor. This sentence from the first chapter got me hooked…“The first rule of living in California is don’t sleep naked until you get used to the quakes.” This is Edward speaking to Bella. I really liked the other characters too…especially Jasper and Alice. It is a fun story with yummy lemons too!

I was looking for a quick read and found this story. It is only 5 chapters but it is so worth reading. The mysterious podcaster, Happy Harry, will have you laughing. I liked the Bella in this story…she has hutzpah. There are yummy lemons in this story too.

This story is very well written and if you are in an angsty mood please give it a read. In the beginning of this story Bella is just existing. She sees Edward singing in a bar and his words and music capture her. She has suffered a major tragedy and she has not healed. Edward also has his share of inner demons. Can they help heal each other or will their suffering be too much to overcome? You know the drill…you have to read the story to find out.
Poetry in Motion by eroticfan
Author’s Summary: Art meets lust in Forks. This is - hell, I don’t know really. Mostly AU-Human I think, it’s not out there enough to be crackfic, although it’ll have its moments. Edward is a sensitive soul and budding poet, and Bella has a very special weakness for his poetry. It's trying to be a romantic comedy, but the smut keeps taking over...
This is another quick read…only 7 chapters. It was funny and had little angst. I think angst may be too strong of a word. Maybe just a little drama. There are parts of the story that will have you giggling out loud. So if you don’t have a lot of time and want to read something that will have you laughing then give this story a chance. Did I mention the smut? I didn’t you have to read the story for the fun sexy smut too.
After All by SunKing
Author’s Summary: Bella was once an aspiring opera singer before a car accident destroyed her dream. She gets a second chance when Edward's band holds auditions for a singer. Little does he know that she could help make his dreams come true, as well.
I really enjoyed this story. There is little bit of drama and friendship and love that keep the story going. Edward starts off as a major ass but we don’t know why at first. Bella is just an amazing strong and nice person. She is very patient too. More patient than most people when putting up with Edward. There are twist and turns in this story. I thought the plot was pretty original and the cannon Bella and Edward qualities that show through in the writing. SunKing did a wonderful job with this story.

Author’s Summary: Bella, a famous Broadway star, gets a new co-star. Edward doesn't seem terribly impressed with his leading lady, especially since she's too much like Sandy for his liking. Will her sweet nature change his mind or is the innocence all an act?
I read this story by SunKing because I really liked After All and I love Broadway musicals, especially Grease…it is the word you know…I digressed again sorry. This is a great story and you won’t be disappointed in it. There is drama but there is loving and great friendships too. The other characters in this story are wonderful too.

This is a delightful story but it does have some dark themes. I really liked it. I could relate to parts of it since I am a computer system analyst by trade and there were parts of the story that I could picture really well. I don’t know if it is because I live in Washington and have been some of the places that the story is set in. The Edward in this story is very adorkable. I really enjoyed him. Bella does have some abuse in her past that is holding her back. Can they get past the abuse? Is there a happy ever after? You know by now I will not tell you…just read the story. You will enjoy Geekward and Nerdella.

This is an amazing story that really owned me big time. It is very well written and when I thought there were places that it would be predictable it wasn’t. There are lots of twists and turns in this story. I am really glad that I found this story. It is worth reading. There is lots of suspense, wounded sexy Edward, and an amazing Bella too. You can really feel the emotions of the characters through the awesome writing of ObsessingOverEdward. I am going to check out her other stories next.

OMG! There is so much drama in this chapter! I can’t tell you what happens or I will give it away!!! This is another must read story! It is one of the most well written fanfiction stories out there. The Edward in this story…is so hard-hot headed and destructive but he loves Bella so much. I hope he will be able to overcome some of his issues so that there can be some peace in their lives…but I know there will be consequences to his choices.

This chapter update like the rest of the story is so beautifully written. It has one of the most romantic love scenes that I have read. This Edward even though he can be dark at times can really bring on the romance. I wish my first time was as wonderful as the one written in this chapter. As I have mentioned before, this is one of my must read stories. I can’t wait for the next update.

Weekly Reads!
I did a lot of reading this week. I was sick one day so I didn't work and spent the day reading in-between naps.
I read some really good stories and of course there were chapter updates by the stories that own me. I want to try and review the stories but I have a hard time reviewing them without giving the plot totally away. I would not want to do that and ruin the story for someone else.
I am currently reading:
Progress: The Original Sleep Humper Love Story by 107yearoldvirgin
Author's Description: "A BxE debacle of epic proportions. "There's no real diagnosis. He's what we affectionately call a 'sleep humper'." Sometimes love is just plain awkward."
There are parts of this story has really had me LOL! I really needed a non-angsty story to read. I am almost done with it. Edward and Bella have some issues and they are working through them. There is a little angst but for the most part lots of humor. Bella doesn't say the F word and the gang doesn't either. 107yearold virgin gets creative in her other words instead of the "F" word. Of course there are some yummy lemons in this story.

OMG - If you like Angst, Anguish, Torment, Pain...I could go on and on...this is the story for you!!! It is a good story but there are times your heart breaks for both Edward and Bella. They both suffer a great tragic event and try and heal through the pain. They have a beyond toxic relationship. Their friends and family are there for them but they also suffer from E and B's relationship. The ending of the story leaves you wanting more...it is a good thing that teambella23 is writing a sequel.

This is a delightful story of new love . These ladies have great talent in writing lemons. This Edward is way yummy with his tats and piercings. It is beautifully written and is a must read!

This is charming story. It does have a little bit of angst but it is so worth reading.
I loved this part: "The first time Edward Cullen told me he loved me, he was ten and I was eight. In a little more than twelve hours I would be getting into a car with my mother and driving away from our rainy little town forever...
"I wish you didn't have to go, Belly Bird," he said softly, handing me the bedraggled flower.
"Me too." I starting tearing up, and for once it had nothing to do with that stupid nickname.
He scooted closer to me and reached out to hold my hand. "Don't cry," he whispered, offering me his sleeve. I laughed and shook my head, tears still falling.
"Bella," he said seriously. I blinked. Edward almost never called me Bella. "Don't go. I love you. I think I'll love you forever."

I really enjoyed reading this story. Young love and all of that. It was fun to read about their adventures through Europe and falling in love. However Bella has kept a huge secret from Edward and will he be able to forgive her so they can be together? You will have to read the story and find out. I won't tell you.

This is a very touching story with angst, love, and lemons. I read it straight through. I could not stop myself. In this story Bella starts out trying to find herself and by the end she finds more. She not only finds herself but she finds home along the way.
Illegal Contact by GreenEyedGirl17

This is a story about friendship growing into more. This is another story that I just could not stop reading. I had to find out what would happen next.
This is from the Prologue:
"Tell me to stop if you don't want this, too," Edward said huskily between gently sucking on my neck.
"Please don't stop," I said breathlessly. My voice probably sounded so pleading and whiney, but I didn't care. I wanted nothing more than to have him inside me. Edward held me tightly against him as he walked back to his bedroom, kicking the door shut behind him.

I found AngelStardust on the Twilighted Fourm and she is the beta for my story. I am not just pimping her story because she is helping me with mine. Her story is really good. Now y'all need to give Striptease a read. As you know I mostly read all human stories and this is the only vampire story that I am currently reading. The story is just at the beginning and the angst is just starting. I am intrigued as to what will happen next.
The Training chapter 19 update by tara sue me

I have loved reading the journey of this Bella and Edward. The Submissive was my first insight into the D/s or BDSM lifestyle. While it is not for me I am a pretty open minded person and enjoy learning about new things.

I started reading this story last November. I love it! It is one of my top 5 favorite stories. The Edward in this story is so sexy and fascinating but he is "fifty shades of fucked up". I love this Bella too. She is a strong young women that Edward needs. It is so well written and involved. I look forward to the updates. Which are often. :)

This is story is also one of my top 5 favorites. There is something about this Edward. He is so dark but sexy. Bella is also a strong character. They have this power of each other. This is so well written and descriptive. I look forward to Saturday updates and reading about the path that life will bring to them. There is another update for this week that I haven't gotten to yet. I will read it before the night is over. I can't wait!!!

This is another BDSM story. I have few of them in my favorites. As I mentioned before I cannot imagine living this life style. There is no way I could kneel down and kiss my husband's feet but it is very interesting to read stories about it. This is another very well written story that I look forward to the updates.

I read this straight through...It is very well written. There is angst, healing, learning to love and trust again. I can't wait to see how it ends.

I almost didn't start reading this story because it is in progress and I hate to wait for updates, but this story is written by feathersmmmm and she is amazing! This story really has some very funny LOL moments. I almost had tears in my eyes from some of the funny moments. This last chapter I did have tears in my eyes from not so funny moment. It was kind of angsty at the moment. I am always routing for Edward and Bella. Sometimes they are so hardheaded! This story very well written and everyone should read it.
I loved this line from Chapter 2:
If Edward ever brought Purina home again, I might have to kill her. The cold war was back on....

I read some really good stories and of course there were chapter updates by the stories that own me. I want to try and review the stories but I have a hard time reviewing them without giving the plot totally away. I would not want to do that and ruin the story for someone else.

There are parts of this story has really had me LOL! I really needed a non-angsty story to read. I am almost done with it. Edward and Bella have some issues and they are working through them. There is a little angst but for the most part lots of humor. Bella doesn't say the F word and the gang doesn't either. 107yearold virgin gets creative in her other words instead of the "F" word. Of course there are some yummy lemons in this story.

OMG - If you like Angst, Anguish, Torment, Pain...I could go on and on...this is the story for you!!! It is a good story but there are times your heart breaks for both Edward and Bella. They both suffer a great tragic event and try and heal through the pain. They have a beyond toxic relationship. Their friends and family are there for them but they also suffer from E and B's relationship. The ending of the story leaves you wanting more...it is a good thing that teambella23 is writing a sequel.

This is charming story. It does have a little bit of angst but it is so worth reading.
I loved this part: "The first time Edward Cullen told me he loved me, he was ten and I was eight. In a little more than twelve hours I would be getting into a car with my mother and driving away from our rainy little town forever...
"I wish you didn't have to go, Belly Bird," he said softly, handing me the bedraggled flower.
"Me too." I starting tearing up, and for once it had nothing to do with that stupid nickname.
He scooted closer to me and reached out to hold my hand. "Don't cry," he whispered, offering me his sleeve. I laughed and shook my head, tears still falling.

I really enjoyed reading this story. Young love and all of that. It was fun to read about their adventures through Europe and falling in love. However Bella has kept a huge secret from Edward and will he be able to forgive her so they can be together? You will have to read the story and find out. I won't tell you.

This is a very touching story with angst, love, and lemons. I read it straight through. I could not stop myself. In this story Bella starts out trying to find herself and by the end she finds more. She not only finds herself but she finds home along the way.

Now y'all need to give Striptease a read. As you know I mostly read all human stories and this is the only vampire story that I am currently reading. The story is just at the beginning and the angst is just starting. I am intrigued as to what will happen next.

Is Jackson Hot or What???
I went to the 100 Monkeys show when they were in Seattle back in January. It was a great way to end my weekend. I went to the Twilight convention Friday - Sunday and 100 Monkeys on Monday. I have to say that 100 Monkeys was the highlight of the weekend for me! I took my 19 year niece with me and for awhile I was the oldest person there. I am in touch with my inner 21 year old. As we were waiting outside in line a lady came up to me and asked me if I was at the convention...that was random. I didn't know I was that recognizable. I guess I am.
I really didn't have a thing for Jackson before I saw him in concert. I have only seen him in the Twilight films and as Jasper he has a bad wig and looks constipated all of the time. But I have to say seeing him live on stage...I understand the cougar thing now. He had amazing stage presence and he would look at you like he was looking through your soul. I know he probably could not see that far out into the audience but that is what is seemed like to me. He definitely has FME's (fuck me eyes). I still love Rob but Jackson is on my list!

How did this crazy Twilight obsession start?
I never considered myself a reader prior to Twilight. I only read maybe one or two books a year before this madness started.
I actually had no plans on reading the books. I am a youth leader at my church and all of the girls were like Twilight...Edward...Jacob...I was like please...really vampires and Forks, WA???
Well, it all started on June 27, 2009. I went camping with my family and I decided to bring Twilight along. Since that day, I haven't read something Twilight related...books, blogs, fanfiction. I finished the series and Midnight Sun in a week. I was late to work twice because I stayed up too late reading. I re-read them 4 times in a row. I couldn't get enough.

I live in Washington and my 12 year-old niece came to visit in July. We took a trip to out to Forks. We had a lot of fun. We took the Twilight Tour and the crazy thing was I was the only person from Washington on the tour. It was fun to meet other people that loved Edward Cullen as much as me.

By August, I wanted more...my daughter told me I should check out Twilight Fanfiction. She used to read Harry Potter Fanfiction all of the time. I found twilighted.net and started reading. I have to say I became a little obsessive about it. I started reading Alternate Universe (AU) - New Moon stories. I love the angst in them. Now my favorite stories are All Human (AH) I wish I could remember what the first story that "owned" me was. It took me about a month to figure out that I should review stories and set up my favorite. I need to be a better reviewer. I tend to only review when I finish a story. I am trying to be better. I had no idea what amazing writers wrote fanfiction. I have to say if I knew how lemony they could be I may have paid a little more attention to what my daughter was reading when she was 14. Now she tells me...
I went to the Twilight convention in Seattle in January with my good friend Patty. We had a good time. I was really excited to meet Peter Facinelli (Carlisle). He is really nice and very humble. The other actors that we got to meet are Chaske Spencer (Sam), Alex Meraz (Paul), Bronson Pelletier (Jared), Kiowa Gordon (Embry), Daniel Cudmore (Felix), Charlie Bewley (Demetri). They had a vampire ball which was fun. I also enjoyed meeting other people. I found out that I am not as crazy of a fangirl as I thought...there are others that are way crazier than me. Even though I had a lot of fun, I am not sure if I would go to another convention...only if Rob was there, but he is way too busy to do these types of conventions.
Peter Facinelli was our first speaker. He is awesome!!!
