Story Recs

It's been a long time since I have recommended stories to read and thought I would highlight a couple of really great stories.

Bannder and Blinky created by Ange de l'aube

Summary: A virgin. An escort. A contract signed. But falling in love wasn't part of the agreement...AH E&B
I saw this story recommended last weekend on Twitter and I think it was only 10 chapters in and it hooked me right away. I really feel if you are one to read WIP's then this is a must read!!!

Bella is 19 years old and still is a virgin. She has had opportunities to have sex but has had some issues going the next step. She decided to hire Edward and lose her virginity on her own terms.
Here's an except below:
It was his job to give women a night they'd never forget. He would give that to Isabella Swan in the very best way he knew how, and make sure she didn't regret it. But no matter what he did for her tonight, he knew he would never be able to match the gift she was about to give him. He only wished she would realize how precious it was.

He stared relentlessly until she finally looked up at him. His voice came out a little raspier than he intended.

"I'll be whoever you want me to be tonight," he said.

Those must have been the magic words, for he got his wish. Her eyes visibly softened as she regarded him.

Her voice was as raw as his when she replied. "I want you to be yourself."

They both wondered who that was.

I love Gemgirl65's writing style so much that I went on a Gemgirl65 marathon and I am reading her other stories: The Guitar, Amnesia, and current reading Massage Therapy. All of these stories are complete and very good. Check out her writing. I'm glad that I have found her!

How to Paint a House by Maggie's Gutter - WIP

Banner created by becksishere
Summary: Bella Swan is a naive fifteen year old, set to spend another kiss-less summer alone. Edward is new to town, and doesn't know a soul. Watch an unlikely friendship blossom over the simple task of painting a house. But for these two, nothing is simple.

Holy Swear Word! I love, love, love this story! It's a coming of age story that that takes you back to being a teenager. Don't let that stop you from reading because Lord knows that I never want to be a teenager again! Maggie's Gutter's writing is so magical, you feel the emotions of the characters. I have laughed out loud and cried while reading this story. Her Bella is one of my favorite Bella's that I have read.

Here's an excerpt below:
"This was fun," he smiled. "I didn't expect this when I woke up this morning. You're a pretty cool kid Bella," he shrugged, then turned and went for his door.

Kid?

I couldn't even breathe. That word hit me like a tidal wave…taking my air, filling my lungs with water…choking me…drowning me…

Crushing me…

Edward Cullen called me a kid.

Another excerpt:

Then a set of big hands wrapped around my face firmly, gripping it tightly. "Hey," Edward shouted again, getting my full attention. I blinked out my tears and looked to him with wide eyes, while his strong hands held my face. "I see you Bella," he whispered, his soft green eyes boring into me. "I mean it," he said. "You're not invisible. You're beautiful," he whispered in a gravelly voice, taking his thumbs and gently wiping away my tears.

Then Edward scooted closer to me, pulling my head to his lips, pressing them into my forehead, kissing it. "You're not invisible," he whispered, his lips lingering and damp on my forehead…just searing into it.

Oh my freaking holy swear word…

Loved this:

And my instincts were telling me to have a freaking orgasm. Like, it was time.

And then I did…

It started in my toes, and then rolled up my legs like a wave. Like a sneeze was building, but so much bigger than that. And as Edward's tongue flicked that spot, it's like my body couldn't contain it anymore, and it just had to erupt, to burst…to unfurl.

"I'm─" I started to cry out when it started, and Edward's hands held tightly to my thighs, not letting me get away, keeping his rhythm with his tongue as the wave kept coming…

And it did. It just kept coming. This warm wave trickled up my legs, and kind of exploded when it reached the top. Like releasing the tingles, and the burning, and the throbbing in this massive rolling spasm of amazing… peaking somewhere, and then slowly trailing off, leaving me numb and warm, like I had taken the pain pills that the dentist gave me for my wisdom teeth. Like I had taken all of the pain pills that the dentist gave me for my wisdom teeth.

I had an orgasm.

Holy Swear Word…

I hope you give this story a chance! I've enjoyed it very much!

Changes...

Well kids…I hate to admit this but my whole twi-obsession seems to be waning. It’s kinda scary to admit but it’s true. I think it is the same for some of you as well.

A few weeks back I decided to change my twitter name to @Chye_Lin which is another spelling for my name. I have also decided to change my blog name to Chye-Lin’s Contemplations. I will still keep the monkeygirl1969.blogspot.com url at this time since other blogs link to mine and changing it would break their link.

Twi_Lin was fun name but five years from now I do not think I will still want to be Twi_Lin. The only place I plan to keep will keep my Twi-Lin name is on fanfiction. http://www.fanfiction.net/~twilin.

I think I am more of a Rob & Kristen fan now than just a Twilight fan. I’m so excited for their career’s to move beyond Twilight and for them to be successful in what they do.

I don't know who created this collection but I love it!!! How can you not love Rob & Kristen?
I still love Twilight. I can’t believe how much my life has changed because of reading the saga but I have a hard time reading the books. I love the movies mostly because of Rob and Kristen. I think I will always love to read Twilight Fanfiction. There are so many amazing writers. I like the twist they put on the twilight characters. I even don’t mind when they just use the names to write their own stories. There would be no way I would find about their stories if they didn’t write it as fanfiction.

...but not everything.

I do think my blog will still be Twilight related since it is still a part of my life but I don’t want to limit it just to Twilight.

I am grateful for Twilight and through the fandom it brought so many wonderful people into my life!

Here are a few of my favorite Twitard Sisters and a handful of Brothers. :)
