The Lost Boys and Clipped Wings and Inked Armor
I was really excited last week to find out that The Lost Boys by hwimsey and Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by hunterhunting are now completed.
Both of these stories have been talked about on other FF sites and I couldn’t wait to read them. I was very tempted to start them but I am really trying not to start a story unless it is completed. That is a very hard thing to do. I have so many stories in progress on my favorites list that I always have to read the previous chapter to remember where I am at in the story.
I did finish The Lost Boys the other day. This story is awesome!!! It is very well written. I wasn’t sure about if it was really something that I would like from the summary… “Three young woman, three young men, a potentially haunted Victorian that's falling apart around their ears, unrequited love, and an up and coming band. Take all that, shake it up, and set it in romantic San Francisco. All human, usual pairings.” But I really did enjoy it and could not stop reading it. If you like romance, angst, reincarnation, ghost, and Bella, Edward, and the rest of the gang; you will love this story too. I really liked how answers to my questions were wrapped up in the end like a good mystery should.
This story has been won first place in the category most in character in the Twilight All Human Fanfiction Awards. It was nominated for a Golden Lemon Award for best dirty talk.
I am in the process of reading Clipped Wings and Inked Armor. This is the summary from the author “Haunted by her past Bella is broken and alone. Starting over, can she let go of the guilt that consumes her when she meets a beautiful tattoo artist or will his own personal demons destroy them first? Rated M for langage and lemons. AH/OOC”
This story owns me at the moment. I wish I could just read it without interruption but this thing called real life is in the way. I think I may be able to finish it by the end of the week. In this story so far, Bella and Edward are very wounded people and they are finding healing in each other but they haven’t been totally honest with each other about their past and I am sure that there will be lots of drama when/if that happens. I have learned lots about different types of piercings from reading this story. Edward has multiple piercing including an Apadravya – which basically is a barbell that goes through the head of his dick…ouch! But it apparently makes things very pleasurable for him and her during sex. I know my husband will never get one for me. I just googled it to see what it looks like and showed him and he said “NO WAY!” During the story Bella also gets her nipples and clit pierced. I won’t be getting those pierced either. I am hoping that there will be a happy ending.
This story is nominated for a couple of Bellie Awards in the categories: Most Consistenlty Updated and Best Trend Setting Fic. Voting is open until 9PM Eastern (6PM Pacific) on February 28, 2010.
I hope you get a chance to read these stories.

Review The Girl Under The Bed by Nostalgicmiss
I wish I could remember where I found the recommendation to read The Girl Under The Bed by Nostalgicmiss because I would love to give them credit.
This is the summary by the author: Bella Swan is homeless in one of the worst winters Seattle has seen. When hope is gone, and things take a turn for the worst a mysterious stranger steps in to help, turning her life upside down. Changing her life forever. AH/AU
This story is a must read! Nostalgicmiss is an amazing writer! I read this story straight through. I could not stop reading it. If you like a love story with lots of angst then this is the story for you. I have to warn you that if you are anything like me you will need a box of kleenex with you when you read. I think I cried at some point in every chapter. At times they were sad tears and other times they were happy tears.
During this story you go through Bella's journey of being a homeless teenager, finding first love, making friends, learning to trust others and herself. She is a survivor and is able to overcome so many obstacles. At times she does not make the best decisions but what teenager does?
There is a love triangle. Bella must decide between the love she feels for Jasper and also for Edward. Who does she pick? You must read the story to find out. For those of you that are only Bella/Edward only people, please give this story a chance. I am glad that I did.
This story has also opened my eyes on the homeless issue. When I am in Seattle, I try not to make eye contact with them. I always feel bad but I don't know what to do to help them. Next month I will be in Seattle. I am going to take bread and peanut butter to hand out to the homeless people that I see. It may not be much but I know that someone will be able to eat for a few days.

"Ugh, Jake. Your body heat is really not helping with the being hot thing."
He laughed again, his usual guffaw as his body literally shook mine along with it. I planted my hands on his chest and pushed him away from me, getting even crankier at having to exert more energy.
"Anyone would think this is your first summer here. You do this every year, Bella."
"It just feels as if it gets worse though," I whined, wiping my forehead with the back of my hand. The beads of sweat were peppering the skin there, gently sliding towards my eyebrows. "That or the trees are thinning out."
"You have to sit under one to feel the benefits, whiny."
"You're a genius, Jake," I groaned picking up my tea and taking a long sip. The ice had completely melted now, leaving just the cool liquid. "Where's Leah anyway. Shouldn't you be off bothering her?"

Getting Started
I am excited to start this blog...I am addicted to twilight and twilight fan fiction. There are some amazing stories out there that I cannot wait to share with you.
I have also been inspired to write a story. My sister is currently editing it and I will post-it here on the blog and fanfiction.net when it is ready. I am not a writer but I thought it would be fun to try and see what happens during the creative process.
Part of my plan for this blog is to write recommendations on stories that I read and to write about my twilight obession.
I would also love to get recommendations from readers...I am always looking for a new story to read. My favorite stories are AH and Bella/Edward. There have been a few stories that are Bella/Jasper that have turned out wonderful too. I think I need to keep an open mind.
